COURSE INFORMATION

Course Description: Designing Underground for Large Subdivisions will train the attendee in the techniques necessary to design an underground distribution service to large subdivisions. The course will include the design of secondary and services within voltage drop limits. Methods for estimating prospective loads for the homes and the development will be included in the training. The design of primary lines for large subdivisions will be presented. For this course, large subdivisions will be those developments that require at least one piece of switchgear to loop a mainline through the development.

Instructors: Hi-Line Engineering specializes in providing engineering consulting services to electric utilities. Hi-Line’s staff exhibits diverse experience in the planning, design, operation and maintenance of electric distribution systems. Plus, Hi-Line offers a variety of training courses geared to the electric utility industry.
