We know the value story has in building connection. Our roles in member services and communication allow us to share the cooperative story, but what exactly is it? Keith Stapleton, former Chief Communications Officer at Sam Houston Electric Cooperative, will share the history of co-ops and how employees in member services and communications can embed this into their work. 

Participants learn about: 

  • An overview of Electric Cooperatives and the history of how they formed.
  • Why your job matters in communicating our story to cooperative members. 
  • Ways to implement context into member services and communications departments. 

Class limited to 40 attendees. Only 2 attendees per co-op. 

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received three weeks prior to the start of the workshop are fully refundable. Cancellations received two weeks prior to the start of the workshop will be issued a refund minus a $50 cancellation fee. Substitutions are accepted. Cancellations the week prior and no shows are responsible for paying the full registration fee.
